Delicious potatoes
Recipe for 4 persons (VH25H or VH25)

Groceries
- 6 large waxy potatoes
- 3 shallots
- coarse salt
- pepper
- oregano
- thyme
- 3 cloves of garlic
- chicken stock
- beer
- butter
Preparation
- Peel the 6 large potatoes and make sure the top and bottom are straight. Cut the potatoes in half.
- Melt the butter in the skillet and place the potatoes in the skillet. Once the potatoes are nice and crispy, turn them over.
- Add salt and pepper. Sprinkle the potatoes liberally.
- Add the finely chopped shallots and the finely chopped garlic. Let this fry for a while.
- Sprinkle the potatoes with oregano and thyme.
- Add half a pot of chicken stock and the thyme and oregano and leave it on the bbq for 30 minutes on indirect fire.
- Check regularly that it is not boiling dry, if necessary add some more chicken stock.
- Prick the potatoes to check whether they are cooked. Remove the potatoes from the skillet, cover them with foil and let them rest.
- In the meantime, let's make the sauce. Add a large splash of beer and let it evaporate while stirring until it becomes a nice sauce.
- Place the potatoes back in the skillet and spoon some sauce over them as well. Enjoy your meal.
